Madame Tussauds Amsterdam, during an event in Milan, officially unveiled the wax figure of Elettra Lamborghini. She is the first and currently only Italian artist to be placed in the Dutch museum, in the 'Music Area' among other great colleagues such as Michael Jackson, Beyoncé, Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber.
The choice to represent her has been dictated by numerous surveys, with social analysis, Google searches and sample questions to visitors, which rewarded Elettra Lamborghini's eccentricity and unmistakable style.
La realizzazione della statua è iniziata nel mese di settembre 2021 quando Elettra si è recata al Madame Tussauds di Amsterdam dove ha posato per più di 3 ore davanti gli scultori, i quali hanno preso tutte le sue misure, scattato centinaia di foto e rilevato tutti i dettagli utili alla realizzazione della statua: dalla sfumatura degli occhi al tono della sua pelle, dal colore dei suoi capelli fino alla conformazione dei suoi denti.
The experts also made a 3D scan that faithfully reproduced all of Electra's features, an additional tool for a wax figure with perfect proportions. Afterwards they realized a clay statue and then a mould into which wax was poured to obtain the final figure. Finally, they applied real hair to the figure and they hand-painted it with oil paints, creating shades and recreating the original skin tone.
