To mark World Bee Day, which is celebrated every year on May 20, Mieli Papagna, a Puglia-based company that - since 1957 and for three generations - has dedicated itself with love and dedication to the protection of bees, through the production of handmade honey and projects aimed at safeguarding the territory in which it operates, is now launching the project: From Bee to You | #AdottaUnArnia.
The goal of the project is to introduce a growing public to the knowledge of the crucial importance of bees in the ecosystem and the meaning of biodiversity, in order to learn how to respect the rhythm of nature.
In particular, with From Bee to You | #AdottaUnArnia, it is possible to contribute actively to the protection of the bees that populate Mieli Papagna hives and, more important, to create new ones. Doing all this while learning about bees and the complex ecosystem that surrounds them.
Adopting a family of Mieli Papagna bees provides the opportunity to receive honey made by the adopted bees directly to your home. A honey that comes directly from the pollinated fields, depending on the period and flowering, to learn first of all about the seasonality of the products that nature provides, as the importance that these small insects have for our lives.
