Dec 2022

Located in the heart of Venice's best-known and most characteristic area - in the complex by St. Mark's Basilica and a short walk from the famous Bridge of Sighs - Libreria Studium (curated by The Merchant of Venice) offers a selection of more than 10,000 titles spread over two floors. The wide range of texts focuses on one hand on Venice and its history, and on the other on fiction and children's books, art catalogs and especially titles in English, French, German and Spanish. On the second floor there is a room dedicated to an unprecedented Perfume Bookshop with monographic texts on the subject but above all a large Perfume Organ with over 200 essences catalogued as if they were an ancient herbarium that are used for composition and olfactory training courses. For the month of December, RAI TG 3 VENETO selected at the Libreria Studium for the Rubric READING RECOMMENDATIONS edited by Paolo Colombatti three titles: History of Perfume in Venice by Anna Messinis, Last Islands by Paolo Barbaro and. Raymond Chandler's The Long Goodbye. Happy reading!
