From the 2nd to the 5th of May 2023, at the Ergife Palace Hotel in Rome, the 56th National Congress of the Italian Society of Hygiene, Preventive Medicine and Public Health was held.
On May 2, after the Opening Ceremony with a speech by Professor Roberta Siliquini, President of the sites, the Master’s Report "Europe and Prevention" was given space, by Prof. Walter Ricciardi.
Next, the first plenary session, which talked about "Strategies to combat vaccination hesitation: the role of public health". In the evening, however, the Italian Hygiene Society organized a meeting in which the four former Ministers of Health intervened, who talked, based on their past experiences, to consider how to improve the future of our National Health Service.
From the 3rd to the 5th of May, the 56th National Congress got to the heart of various and important topics that were addressed and analyzed.
