Gardaland Resort is the first Italian Amusement Park to obtain the Zero Waste certification by AENOR, international certifying body among the ten most important in the world. AENOR is recognised in 90 countries and identifies and certifies companies capable of guaranteeing a virtuous waste management maximising prevention and recovery actions.
Gardaland was considered a virtuous company and was able to obtain the AENOR Zero Waste certification as it reached, in 2022, the certified goal of 93.4% of waste recycled out of the total amount of waste produced, contributing to boost sustainability through recovery operations and circular economy.
The AENOR analysis carried out on Gardaland was extremely strict and rigorous and required the validation of every document for every single step of the waste management chain.
