The annual event, which brings together top-level Professionals in the field and young Trainees in Hygiene and Preventive Medicine, was entitled “Public Health for the Future of the Country: innovation, alliances and institutional synergies for prevention.”

It was an opportunity to reflect on and discuss topics of close relevance, such as “Primary and Secondary Prevention,” paying special attention to the latest developments in vaccine programs. Also discussed during the four-day event were “Institutional Alliances and Synergies,” i.e., the relationships between Institutions and Scientific Societies, the push for increased investment in Prevention, and how to optimize public health services on the ground. Finally, a reflection on digital innovation could not be missed, with a focus on the integration of artificial intelligence and new technologies in Public Health.
