Dementia and Alzheimer's disease pose a growing challenge to families and society. Too often, those who receive a diagnosis face the disease alone, with difficulties in accessing services and finding reliable information. From this awareness comes Teseo - A community that cares, a project active in the Milan area to build an effective and concrete support network, breaking down stigma and promoting a new culture of care.
In this regard, two fundamental tools for those living with dementia and those caring for a loved one were recently presented: the Patient's Guide entitled “Living Well with Your Illness” and the Caregiver's Guide “Caring for a Person with Dementia. A Practical Guide.” Both can be viewed and downloaded for free by clicking on the following link: https://www.progettoteseo.it/download/
Attivo dal luglio 2023, il Progetto Teseo è finanziato da Fondazione Cariplo e sviluppato da Fondazione Don Gnocchi (capofila), Sociosfera Onlus, Caritas Ambrosiana, Associazione per la Ricerca Sociale e Airalzh Onlus.
