Gardaland and ENGIE: a new photovoltaic system for a sustainable future

Mar 2025

Gardaland takes a significant step towards sustainability with a new project realised by ENGIE. A photovoltaic plant composed of 7,000 panels on a surface of 14,000 m², with a capacity of 3 MW, is under construction. This system will produce 3.6 GWh of clean energy per year, enough to cover more than 25% of the park's energy needs and equal to the consumption of around 1,000 households. The initiative will make it possible to avoid the emission of over 800 tonnes of CO₂ every year, equivalent to the environmental benefit of 7,600 trees planted, contributing to Gardaland's path towards carbon neutrality by 2030.
