Claudia Carrarini, Lorenzo Gaetani, Arianna Menardi, Fausto Roveta, and Giacomo Siano are the five Researchers who were awarded the AGYR 2023 (Airalzh Grants for Young Researchers) Call for Proposals, with Research Projects on the early diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease, the cellular processes involved, and therapies to improve cognitive function.
Airalzh Onlus (Italian Alzheimer's Research Association) continues its efforts to be able to achieve "a tomorrow without Alzheimer's." With the 300.000 Euros allocated for the AGYR 2023 Call for Proposals, a "quota" of 1.2 million Euros has been reached, a sum that - over the course of 4 years - has been allocated to develop 26 Research Projects, by as many Researchers, on the topic of early diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease and lifestyles.
Simultaneously with the announcement of the winners, Airalzh Onlus published the AGYR 2024 Call for Projects. Aimed at Researchers Under 40, it is planned, as in previous editions, to allocate 300.000 Euros to fund Research Projects on early diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease, prevention and lifestyles.
